Content Moderator Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Review user-generated content (text, images, videos, comments) to ensure it follows platform and community guidelines
  • Flag, remove, or escalate content that violates safety policies such as harassment, harmful behavior, spam, or prohibited content
  • Support users via chat or email regarding account issues, community rules, and moderation decisions
  • Monitor trends and user behavior to identify risks or emerging issues
  • Document actions and decisions accurately in moderation systems or CRM tools
